Who took the picture and when?
It was taken by photographer Alfonso "Pompo" Bresciani on August 23, 2005, at 7:44 PM, 5 days before Katrina hit New Orleans. This outstanding panoramic image of the New Orleans Skyline is the very best of several different takes done after sunset and before sunrise, since August 19, 2005. Alfonso Bresciani is a member of the Louisiana Press Association and Canon Professional Services. Am I ordering an inkjet print?
Absolutely not! The New Orleans Skyline image will be printed on Silver halide photographic Fuji Professional Crystal Archive II Paper, processed in Fuji Professional RA-4 Chemistry. The thin black border you see around the picture on this web page will not be on your photograph. |
What is the archival nature of the print?
Under normal lighting conditions (not direct sunlight or spotlights) the Wilhelm Institute has rated the Fuji Professional Crystal Archive II Paper at 60-80 years. |
How does the Lustre finish look?
Lustre has an eggshell finish, it does not show fingerprints like glossy and it also has a lot less glare. |
How will my photo be shipped?
Your photograph will be wrapped around a 2" tube, then bubble wrapped and inserted into a 3.5" diameter tube with 1/4" thick walls. |
